Templates and Forms
The Policy Template must be used for all Policy. Council has delegated the authority for Policy approval to the President and Vice-Chancellor in accordance with Section 4.2.2 of the Register of Delegations
The Policy Template cannot be used to create a Policy which is specific to a particular Division, Faculty or School. Local Policy is not permitted under the revised Policy Framework.
The Standard Template may also be used for a Local Standard which is specific to a particular Faculty, School or Division.
If creating a Local Standard, add your local branding, and the name of your Faculty, School, or Division next to the UNSW Sydney logo when you use this template.
The Procedure Template may also be used for a Procedure which is specific to a particular Faculty, School or Division. Refer to the Local Documents
section of this website for further information.
The Guideline Template may be used to provide further information for matters which are the subject of Legislation, Policy, Procedure, Standards or a decision by an appropriate delegate.

Phase Two Approval Form
A draft Policy, Standard , Procedure or Guideline that is being submitted for approval must be accompanied by a completed Phase Two Approval Form.
Send your final draft document to Governance for final formal review before you send it to an approver: firstname.lastname@example.org. Governance will check the document and send it back to you with a draft Phase Two Approval Form for you to review and finalise.
