Faculty Board Elections
2021 Faculty Board Staff and Student Elections
Nominations closed at 4pm on Friday 26 March 2021 for the 2021 election of staff and student representatives to Faculty Boards.
Positions were available for up to 4 Academic Staff (*) and 3 Students (1 Undergraduate, 1 Postgraduate and 1 Higher Degree Research) in the following Faculties:
- Arts, Design and Architecture
- Business School
- Law & Justice (*)
- Medicine & Health
- UNSW Canberra
(*) Under the UNSW Rules Schedule 7, 3.1(e) the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Justice has determined that all academic staff will be members of the Law & Justice Faculty Board.
The term of office is:
Faculty Board Staff: 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2023
Faculty Board Students: 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2022
The self-nominations for candidature documents listed below set out the details of:
- Those candidates that have been declared elected
- Those electorates in which an election is required
- Those electorates in which insufficient nominations were received, resulting in vacancies
How to vote
Voting will be open from 9am on Wednesday 14 April 2021 to 4pm on Wednesday 21 April 2021 and will be conducted by BigPulse.

2019 Faculty Board Student Election Results:
Please note that on 14 December 2020, UNSW Council agreed to a change in the UNSW Rules which extended the terms of all currently elected staff and student Faculty Board members for six months to 30 June 2021. Faculty Board elections will take place during Term 1, 2021, dates to be confirmed.
